Fifteen years building things that last in places where the systems are missing or broken.
It usually starts the same way. A market that should be moving and is not. A supply chain that broke three steps back. A power cut in the middle of the thing that mattered most. I have spent my working life walking into rooms like that.
The sectors kept changing. Humanitarian rapid response, then startup and fixer culture built from nothing, then social enterprise and business, mostly across East and Central Africa, with work in Latin America, Asia, Europe and Canada. The through-line never changed: find what is actually broken, then build something that holds once you leave.
The test is simple. Is it still running when I am not in the room? A management information system the team now runs themselves. Operations that hold under pressure. A cost calculator a trader actually opens on a Monday morning. Cathedral, not tent.
That is why this site exists. I kept rebuilding the same spreadsheets and frameworks for people who could not afford to pay a consultant for them. So I made them free, in four languages, for anyone building in a hard place. A fixer leaves behind tools, not dependencies.
